    Jboss 3.0.4 with Tomcat 4.0

    Tung Dang Novice

      I want to test some servlets with the above version. My question is:

      I successfully deployed a war file to jboss, but how can I call my servlet on the browser (url)? Does Tomcat start by starting JBoss (default mode) as well or do I have to start Tomcat seperatly?

      Here is my web.xml:

      <?xml version="1.0" encoding="ISO-8859-1"?>

      <!DOCTYPE web-app
      PUBLIC "-//Sun Microsystems, Inc.//DTD Web Application 2.2//EN"
      "http://java.sun.com/j2ee/dtds/web-app_2_2.dtd">

      <web-app>

      <servlet-name>MyServlet</servlet-name>
      <servlet-class>tests.MyServlet</servlet-class>

      <servlet-mapping>
      <servlet-name>MyServlet</servlet-name>
      <url-pattern>SampleServlet</url-pattern>
      </servlet-mapping>

      </web-app>

      Regards.
