localhost:8082

Hi..

I installed jboss 3.0.4, and ran it by executing run -c all in windows command prompt. When I open my browser and try http://localhost:8080 it give and http error 404 : page not found.. which is expected as I do not have any applications deployed yet.

However, when I tried http://localhost:8082 which is supposed to bring me to jboss service listing page, it give me site not found error. Anyone had this problem before? Any solution?

Try

http://localhost:8080/jmx-console/index.jsp

This appears to be the new URL for monitorinhg MBeans, in 3.0.4 and perhaps earlier. I know it was 8082 in 3.0.0.
Haven't installed intermediate releases.

Thanks for your reply. That url (http://localhost:8080/jmx-console/index.jsp) fixed my problem as well. Because I am new to JBOSS having this first test of a deploy fail was disconcerting. The JBOSS 3.0 draft documentation must be old.
How did you figure this out?

I tried this but I get a compilation error on index.jsp...
