JBoss 3.0.2 and JVM 1.3

Hi All,
I am getting a java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: javax/net/SocketFactory exception when initializing a new initial context from a client. I am using a 1.3.1 JVM, which does not seem to be supported (SocketFactory exists since 1.4) - any ideas why and how to fix the problem (besides installing 1.4)?

client/jnet.jar needs to be on your client classpath. Usually put everyting in client on your client classpath, then remove as appropriate.
