shutdown localhost 8081
Is there any way to make shutdown work if you have *no* webserver at all? I've ripped out Jetty in my 3.0.6 custom server config (and all .war files) since we're running Tomcat as a distinct, separate front end. But now shutdown just silently fails.
Can shutdown kill jboss via RMI or something else non-web? Or do I have to hack a custom /bin/sh to kill the first java/jboss process?
