    How to sotre a string in JNDI

    Joachim Van der Auwera Expert

      How can I store a String value in JNDI for all to see.
      I want to make some constant values available to all clients.

      I tried :

      <!DOCTYPE ejb-jar PUBLIC
      "-//Sun Microsystems, Inc.//DTD Enterprise JavaBeans 2.0//EN"
      "http://java.sun.com/dtd/ejb-jar_2_0.dtd">
      <ejb-jar>
      <enterprise-beans>

      <env-entry>
      <env-entry-name>name</env-entry-name>
      <env-entry-type>java.lang.String</env-entry-type>
      <env-entry-value>value</env-entry-value>
      </env-entry>

      </enterprise-beans>
      </ejb-jar>

      But that doesn't work. Any ideas?

      Thanks for the help,
      Joachim
