ClassNotFoundException: javax.net.SocketFactory

Hi,

I have a problem with my JBoss 3.0.4 and Tomcat 4 installation. When I start my application, I get a ClassNotFoundException: javax.net.SocketFactory not found. I have put jnet.jar under my Tomcat WEB-INF/lib directory, with no effect.

What am I doing wrong?

I solved this problem myself. I use jdk 1.3.0. It worked after I added jnet.jar, jcert.jar and jsse.jar to my rt/lib/ext directory. Alternatively, it worked with jdk 1.4., which has builtin jsse. Adding jnet.jar to my WEB-INF/lib was not sufficient under jdk 1.3.0.
