    Unable to shutdown Jboss

    Joe Famularo Newbie

      Platform: Windows 2000 5.00.2195 SP3
      Java SDK: J2SE 1.3.1_07 (build 1.3.1_07-b02)

I start Jboss using "run.bat" in a COMMAND window. Everything seems to work OK. From another COMMAND window I attempt to shut it down using "shutdown.bat". I get the message...

      Shutting down server localhost:8080
      Shutdown complete

However, it has not really shutdown. I can still connect from a browser to http://localhost:8080/jmx-console and invoke any URL.

      CTRL-C shuts Jboss down OK.

I've searched the forums for information and have tried a number of suggestions but I'm out of ideas.

      Any help is much appreciated.

      Regards,
      Joe
