I downloaded and unpacked 3.0.6 with Tomcat into a fresh directory and went to launch it... and I get a few deployment errors, specifically with http-invoker.jar and jmx-console.jar.

My current setup is with Java 1.4.1_01 installed and in the (Windows 2000) system path, and JAVA_HOME refers to this folder. But I also have Java 1.3.1 installed, and if I set JAVA_HOME to point there, it comes up just fine.

Is there something wrong such that JBoss/Tomcat does not want to run under JDK1.4.1?
