2. Re: JavaService don't start anything
tbaud72 Aug 28, 2003 1:46 AM (in response to tbaud72)I saw suggestions :
Under server directory, i have default, all and orvault-thi directory. Each have components to deploy and a log directory.
I see process "javaservice" in my tasks but jboss/jetty
don't reply at my url and the log (server.log file) keep
the same size.
i think it try to start something because i had classNotFoundException in stderr.txt file before.I solve
this problem but it doesn't work.
It is very strange.
Is there a debug mode with javaservice ? -
3. Re: JavaService don't start anything
jonlee Aug 28, 2003 2:16 AM (in response to tbaud72)I don't know that it has a debug mode. Someone had suggested another program but you'd have to search the forum - it was something like JavaService. I think they found that there were too many things to add to the classpath for JavaService. I assume that JBoss itself starts fone from the command line?

jonlee Aug 29, 2003 4:41 AM (in response to tbaud72)Yes. JavaServiceWrapper was the application of which I was thinking. http://wrapper.tanukisoftware.org/doc/english/index.html for those who are interested. People have reported more luck with this, particularly for XP.
