It's a problem with your browsers java installation.
The left pane is an applet. E.g. I couldn't see it with Opera, but with IE.
I have the same problem, and I am using ie 6.0.
Could you tell us which ie version you are using ?
It might be a classpath problem, because when my mouse is moving on the frame, I have this error message => "load: class org.jboss.console.navtree.AppletBrowser not found".
Or, this class is in server\default\deploy\management\console-mgr.sar.
help please ...
hi, I have the same problem with the applet.
I'm running IE6.0.
Which option do you mean?
I just have found:
- java console enabled
- java logging enabled
- JIT compiler for VM enabled
or are you meaning something completely different?
I'm guessing that the Microsoft VM cannot run the applet. So what they are suggesting is to select the Sun JVM - you need to have installed the Sun JRE properly so that Windows can locate it and provide it as an option for your alternative JVM. I'm afraid I don't run Windows but I'm pretty sure that if your Sun JRE is installed and Windows knows about it, you should have a tick box above the Microsoft VM options that you listed.
might be the problem. I'll soon check out.
Cool, it works.
Installed jsdk1.4.05 with JRE and magically the option box showd up in msie config.
didn't expect msie working together with sun to that extent ;o)
