Hot Deployment of .ear in 3.2.2

hot deployment is not working on my system. when i run my build script, it creates a .jar, .war and finally .ear ... the last which is copied directly into ~jboss/server/default/deploy ... however when i reload any page in my app i get a 500 server error. attached is the console output from the point at which the build script copies over the .ear file onward. one line of note is that jboss says in the output that it cannot delete the tmp .ear file in ~default/tmp/deploy/ .... don't know if that has to do with the problem or not.

i am running 3.2.2 on win2000, using postgres 7.1 or 7.2 and j2sdk (1.4.1). interestingly, i am also running basically the same setup on a redhat 7.2 box and having exactly the same problem although i haven't compared the respective console output line for line.

      has anyone seen this before?
