    javax.servlet.jar  not loaded

      when i started my jboss-4.0.2 server,it is starting properly.But displaying a message that :

      So when i am trying to open my web page in browser it is showing error in the log file for server like this:

      javax.servlet.ServletException: com.ge.casper.ExceptionWrapper: org.apache.jasper.JasperException: /html-jsp/error.jsp(19,0) /html-jsp/header.jsp(9,0) Unable to read TLD "META-INF/taglib.tld" from JAR file "file:/E:/santoshi/jboss-4.0.2/server/default/./deploy/Ask.war/WEB-INF/lib/rpi-1-04.jar": org.apache.jasper.JasperException: Mandatory TLD element missing or empty: jsp-version

      Can somebody help me in solving the problem.

          The error message contains the answer to your problem: -

          See Servlet Spec 2.3, section 9.7.2. Offending class: javax/servlet/Servlet.class

          This section of the specification says that a web application is not allowed to override J2SE or J2EE classes e.g. classes in the java.* and javax.* namepsaces.

          You have included 'javax.servlet.jar' in your war so as the war is validated it looks as if you have attempted to override 'javax/servlet/Servlet'.

          The solution is to remove the jar from your archive.
