Problem on startup - run.sh: Missing file: /usr/jre1.5.0_05/

Hi Folks,

I am new to JBoss, but I seem to have it running OK so far, however when I start JBoss using run.sh I get the following error:

# sh run.sh
run.sh: Missing file: /usr/jre1.5.0_05/lib/tools.jar
run.sh: Unexpected results may occur. Make sure JAVA_HOME points to a JDK and not a JRE.

I am using JRE 1.5.0_05 (as you can see) and I have my JAVA_HOME pointing to /usr/jre1.5.0_05 which JBoss is using - yet I still get this error!

Can anyone tell me how to fix this?

Install the JDK5 and point your JAVA_HOME to that, just as the message tells you.

Ah yes :)

Now I feel really stupid :) For some reason I thought I was using the JDK.

I remember now - I started installing the JDK, but as my server is headless and I don't have an X client I couldn't install it, so I thought I would jsut use the JRE until I worked out how to install the JDK.

I guess I forgot to go back and install the JDK.
