Suggested configuration for Migration to JavaEE 5

Hi,

We're currently running an enterprise application using EJBs and webservices and want to slowly migrate to JavaEE 5. Where EJB 3 will have some time I would like to start with JSR-181 (annotated) webservices as soon as possible.

When looking at the installer of current (4.0.4GA) jboss I really didn't know which configuration to use.

Does anybody have any suggestion for me what configuration I can use? Would "all" be able to run my J2EE 1.x app and allow me to deploy EJB 3 beans and annotated webservices?

Select "ejb3" profile when using installer. Latest installer drop is 1.2.0BETA1 (http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=22866&package_id=193295). It includes AS 4.0.4GA, EJB3 CR8, and jbossws-1.0.1.GA which supports JSR-181.

Alex,

While looking for a way to get jbossws 1.0.1 installed I was reading your post again. It seems as if jbossws 1.0.1 is not part of the 1.2.0BETA.

However something must have changed because the file now downloadable is bigger than the file I downloaded some days ago. Can you tell me what changed?
