    Multiple database configuration

    Yoav Al Newbie

      Hello,

      I have developed a webapp with EJB3, JSF and seam. it run on Jboss and i use MYSQL for my database.
      currently i have 5 different databases with 5 datasources.

      my question is how can i configure a single datasource for all 5 databases ?
      is it even possible ?

      thanks

          For 5 different databases, the most you could to is place all 5 datasource declarations within the same *-ds.xml file (because the connection-url requires the database name). Like this:

          <datasources>
           <local-tx-datasource>
           ...declaration for 1st database...
           </local-tx-datasource>
           <local-tx-datasource>
           ...declaration for 2nd database...
           </local-tx-datasource>
           ... etc ...
          </datasources>
