Configuring Log4j for EAR deployed

I have a .ear app consisting of multiple wars and I'm trying to initialize log4j which is scoped at the ear level and use it in all webapp contexts that are in the ear. Is this possible...?

I have the same problem.
Now i found example how to configure log4j from war:

I think you can do this.
You need to have a separate log4j.xml in the EAR"s root folder. Also the log4j.jar has to be loaded via application.xml.

You can enable EAR specific class loading using jboss-app.xml to resolve issues with class loading.
