It's taken a little longer than we had hoped, but the lizard is out of the bag. The Teiid lizard that is. Teiid is a species of lizard nicknamed the "Whiptails". The Teiid Designer project represents the open-source code-base and features developed from the MetaMatrix enterprise data services Designer product development. The Designer utilizes and compliments the Teiid runtime framework which allow applications to use data from multiple, heterogenous data stores.
