marc.fleury Dec 7, 2001 11:21 PM (in response to skmeera)yup, with the integrated jetty we will have a simple way to cluster, the state, httpSession will become cluster aware. No roadmap there, no one is implementing it yet.

pdx3d Dec 9, 2001 10:44 AM (in response to skmeera)Has anyone compared clustering related features and performance between BEA and Jboss? This information would be very helpful for my company to decide whether we can switch to JBoss from BEA.
Thanks in advance. -

slaboure Dec 10, 2001 3:19 AM (in response to skmeera)Hello,
A feature matrix for clustering comparison is under writing: it will allow you to compare clustering features between vendors.
Concerning performances, we are still in alpha mode: reports and feedback of any kind is highly appreciated.
Everyone seems to see clustering as *a must have feature* but not so many are willing to test it to see if it matches his need... Maybe people prefer to pay for this kind of high-end feature.
Cheers,

They will pay for the documentation that is for sure, for the feature I wouldn't worry too much, you are not going to get immediate feedback, we are in alpha and this is a production feature, people going in production are going to wait for at least a beta to test the stuff, so we need to rely on internal feedback at the moment, (unlike for example development features where we get immediate feedback) so just hold on to your pants, and stay the course.
this feature is going to put us in the pantheon, so just hold tight and don't doubt the quality of your work, but you need to "run on faith" ]:) at the moment.
