My configuration is Apache 2.0 (Latest release) + mod_jk (Latest release) + Jboss 3.2.6 on cluster with 2 nodes (redhat ES 3.0 Update 4 with JDK 1.4.2)

Something strange append on Apache.
Using Opensta with only for example 5 VU (1 iteration by VU) there is a lot of httpd process created (between 10 to 20). I start with 32 process and it's growing to 53 process.

Is it normal ? I don't thing so

When i try a unit test using servlet-examples (HelloWorldExample) with a browser the number of process increase from 32 to 35
