Changing jar under /server/default/lib

Hello everybody,
i would like to ask how is it possible to change a jar file which is under the /server/default/lib directory. The server runs on cluster mode. To i have to shut down the second node make the change, start it up and make the same for the active node?Or just shut the whole thing down make the change to the active node and restart it?

Shutdown a node and then restart it after updating the jar.

Is it really so easy? My OS is HP-UX11i. Just restart the second node which will hold the update and the JBoss will be updated?
