DAO and CMP? Need list functionality!

Hi all!

In my application I need a list functionality - all contents (only the name) of a table are presented on a jsp page. I think it is bad to use an ejbSelect() since I would generate high network traffic. But I use CMP and so I shouldnt use DAOs...
Do anyone have an idea?

When doing web applications I would use local interfaces.

As long as your entities don't have masses of fields on them, I wouldn't worry about performance then.
