You're doing something wrong. The performance difference is about ten-fold. Make sure you got optimized invocations turned on.

Pardon my ignorance. What do you mean 'optimized invocations turned on'? Any particular flags?
Means that you have to set the parameter in jboss.xml to 'true'. But as far as I know this is the default (look at standardjboss.xml).
Which OS are you running jboss/tomcat on? I have tested it under windows and it boosted performance, but now I am running it under linux and the performance degrades.
I also want to integrate jboss with a standalone tomcat. Since you has done it, you might be helpful in guiding me. Plese helpme.
