Rendering each item in RichFaces' dataTable by column, not r

Hello,

The traditional way of rendering data in RichFaces' dataTable is by representing each data in the data set by a row.

Is there a way for me to render them by column instead. Say if there are five item in the data set, I would render them in five columns instead of five rows.

probably, you can do it using t:columns (from MyFaces tomahawk lib). We plan to have the same in RichFaces but not in the closest release.
