mjprima Sep 22, 2004 9:11 AM (in response to mjprima)I have run another test to compare memory usage in JBoss 3.2.5 as compared to JBoss 3.2.3. This test deployed Suns Order Processing Center application from the Pet Store demo in default configurations of JBoss.
This test shows JBoss 3.2.5 using at least 10 MB more memory than JBoss 3.2.3. This is for a very small deployment. It appears as the number of EJBs grows the difference in memory usage grows.
Both servers
Running Java 1.4.2_04
Default Server configuration
Deploy Sun's opc.ear file from the Pet Store application
JBoss 3.2.3 / Tomcat 4.1
Server started and all services deployed

After running idle for a while
