Yess, i got problems with this too. I got this:

CVSROOT: anonymous@cvs.jboss.sourceforge.net:/cvsroot/jboss

and then checkout: thirdparty/xdoclet

i get all kinds of jars in xdoclet/lib directory. I presume i copy these new jars into the existing xdoclet/lib directory. When i run the build file again, a webservices.xml should be generated, right? without making any modifications in the build.xml file...

i still get no webservices.xml file. Can someone tell me more about it please?

Ran the hello world example w/ the alpha4 release using Jetty. Made some minor changes I could share if anyone is interested. ...But, I'm only able to run it once successfully. Every other attempt (after the first success) tells me:

Tried to invoke method public java.lang.String testHelloWorld.getHelloWorldMessage(java.lang.String) with arguments java.lang.String. The arguments do not match the signature.

Anyone know what the deal with this is? Could axis be mucking around w/ my string? Cached somewhere perhaps? A setting I've overlooked?? I'm executing the -exact- same client! Thanks for any and all help.

Good news - I can't reproduce the "run only once" problem. Bounced the server and everything seems to work..
