If you are talking about editing the jndi.properties file in the conf folder don't do it, it is an internal file that should not be touched.
If you go to http://localhost:8080/jmx-console find the JNDI View service and execute the invoke method you will be given a listing of everything bound to JNDI for you to check that your session bean was bound correctly.
I checked out the JNDI view from the jmx-console and I could see HelloWorld bean properly binded to the JNDI name. Anyways, I am still surprised why I am getting the NameNotFoundException.
I had a similar problem and it was related to not having a jboss.xml file. Once I generated a jboss.xml file (I used XDoclet) then it deployed and was bound properly and could be reached with the http://localhost:8080/jboss-net/services/Hello?wsdl
I hope this helps if you need more info let me know.
