Row Highlighting in rich dataTable

I want to highlight the rows rendered by the rich:dataTable. The catch here is the rows to be highlighted will depend on the business logic. Lets say you have 10 rows to display and based on the business logic, rows 2,5,8 and 10 needs to be highlighted. Care to give some advice... thanks.

try this

<rich:dataTable var="v" value="#{bean.results}"> <rich:column style="#{(bean.model!=null && (bean.model.fiel >= p.field)) ? 'background: #c3d9ff;' : ''}"> <t:outputText value="#{v.model.anotherField}" /> </r:column> </r:dataTable>

problem is that you have to copy same code on each column...

you may use rowClasses on the dataTable itself

sorry but my mind is a lil bit cluttered now, hmmm how do you associate the rowClasses with the business logic?
