    java.lang.UnsupportedOperationException while deploying JCA

    Divesh Goyal Newbie

      My post is a continuation of sorts from
      http://www.jboss.org/index.html?module=bb&op=viewtopic&t=63827

      My JCA fails to deploy with JBOSS + JCA1.5

      The exception stack trace I get is :

      973 ERROR [NoTxConnectionManager] Starting failed jboss.jca:name=intrin
      sycjca,service=NoTxCM
      java.lang.UnsupportedOperationException: Method setLogWriter() not yet implement
      ed.
      at com.intrinsyc.jca.JintManagedConnectionFactory.setLogWriter(JintManag
      edConnectionFactory.java)
      .............................................................
      ..........................................

      This is the implementation of setLogWriter() in JintManagedConnectionFactory :

      public void setLogWriter(PrintWriter parm1) throws ResourceException {
      if(log)
      JintManagedConnectionFactory.out.println("JintManagedConnectionFactory::setLogWriter(...)");
      this.logWriter = parm1;
      }

      Looks pretty simple to me. I don't know how and from where that java.lang.UnsupportedOperationException is getting thrown.

      What's changed between JCA 1.0 and 1.5 to cause this?
      I've made sure that no system contracts are being violated.

      Any help is appreciated.
      Thanks.
