Using Java Script with Jboss. IS it possible?

I am really new to Jboss and I am trying to use a Java Script pull down menu on my web-app and no matter what I try the script doesn't load. This lead me to believe that maybe I can't use Java Script. Am I right to believe this?
IF I can't use JS what would you recommend I use for a pull down menu?

Can you give more info?
Assuming you are a whatever.js it is just another
piece static content you can add to your war.
