The CMP2 example - now what?

I'm new to all this, and just trying to get a single example working in jboss.

After I start jboss with run.bat, I switch to the \cmp2 example directory, and run ant. The file supposedly builds correctly. Now what do I do???

p.s. If I spring for the cost of the documentation, is there any part of it that is more tailored towards newbies than the free 'getting started' doc?

IMHO, don't depend on JBoss docs for general J2EE information. A developer needs to come to JBoss with J2EE knowledge already in hand. Get yourself a good book on this or find a good tutorial on the web. In particular, learn how to package an application:

Then from there, the JBoss docs are more than adequate to tell you how to startup JBoss and deploy a packaged application.

J2EE documentation won't help you here. You need to say ant setup
ant test-gui

and it should work. I had the same question and someone kindly answered it.

I wish someone would volunteer to fix the quickstart documentation. Maybe I will.

Did you get the template example working? Try http://10.0.0.4:8080/web-client in your browser after you get a sucessful build.
