I put this message on the Installation board but nobody responded.
I am running JBoss 3.04 on Mandarake 9.x Linux and newbie on JBOSS.
Jboss seems to start OK but when I start any of the test suite progs I get:
root@localhost bin]# ./hellotest.sh
Deploying...
Deploying: ../deploy/hello.jar...java.lang.ClassCastException: org.jnp.interfaces.NamingContext at org.jboss.jmx.client.Deployer.lookupAdaptor(Deployer.java:104)
I look in the boot log and I have these for warnings not being able to open Xerces, jndi, jdbc-se2.0.jar, parser.jar
but the files are there.
Can anyone help.
What should I be looking for.
Is it the jndi jar or somehting else.
I am attaching a zip file that has the complete errors and boot log extracts and dir list.
Also is there a good step by step installation site for Linux-jetty-Jboss install or an error lookup area so as to get an idea for what to do.
thanks

unit tests should be run via the build script (it has targets for these), the individual test scripts are probably not maintained since they're not in use any more.
