Not sure if this is the right forum, but I didn't see anything like general ...

I'm looking at inserting a blowfish algo into a file to be used as a first time run check so that I can do a sort of 30 day time trial period. Rather than scatter this check throughout different places in my MVC's components, has anyone done, or know of a better way, like maybe a single location where I could just stop the server from coming up ... or any advice about how might be a better way?

Any advice much appreciated.
