    hanging example client on Win2000

      Hi,

I've installed JBoss3.0.4 on a win2000 professional box and worked my way through the (getting started) examples.
All works fine, but JBoss "hangs" regularly.
      In detail:
I start one DOS box and start JBoss. JBoss runs with the default data source (hsqldb). Then I open a second DOS box and run the example client. Then the client (not always but often) does nothing and gets an exception after some time. And in the JBoss box there are no new log4j messages.
Later I found out that when I have the "hanging client phenomenon" and I go to the JBoss DOS box and hit the enter key or the space bar then the log4j messages continue and all works perfectly. Is there any logic explanation for that?
