Try dropping the class in your deployment's lib/. Only problem here is that it is not a deploy and needs to be present when you start JBoss.
Thanks that means the class is found but it then fails because it in turn because it relies on other classes I have written. Eventually i had to put all my standard classes into a jar file in the library directory, is there a better way
It doesnt actually work anyway because eventually relys on some ejbs that have yet to be deployed
Ive sort of got round the problem.
I jarred up my start class and put into lib
I then added
to my scheduler-service.xml file to stop it starting theclass until my main application had loaded.
