It is a JMX Object Name.
You use it when accessing the MBean
through the MBeanServer.
Some MBeans bind objects into JNDI.
You will typically see the jndi name as an attribute.
I see from the console that EJB has JMX Object Name
such as j2ee.jndi
and Servlet also has one
But i can't ever seem to be able to refer to the above servlet by its jmx name. I wanted to have some of my MBeans depending on the servlet as well as the EJB
What's the trick here?
only works for MBeans registered
with the service controller.
The jetty mbeans are not one of these.
so basically i need to write an MBean for my servlet and register it with the service controller , then
I can have other stuff depends on that servlet?
That would be a workaround, but very jboss specific.
