Yes, your web application must meet the WAR deployment requirements and format. The file must have an extension .war so that JBoss can farm the deployment off to the servlet container.
I have only just installed my JBOSS, I worked with tomcat and I was fine with it. I just want to check Jboss out with all it's cool stuff. I have been able to start up the server but I need to know where to create my WEB-INF directory so that I can display some of my old JSP scripts. This directory is not in what I downloaded and I do not know where to put it. Please if replying to this mail, try to copy this email address: email@example.com.
Create a .war directory in the deploy folder and put the contents of the WAR in there, i.e. ur JSPs, a WEB-INF and everything underneath that.
Alternatively, you can package your stuff as a war and dump it in the deploy folder.
