I am trying to set up Jboss 3.2.0 server on RedHat 9.0

JDK Sun JDK 1.4.1_02

Any advantages of using JDK 1.4.2 ?

While reading through the forums, I found that there are various settings like LD_ASSUME_KERNEL, JVM mode (server,hotspot etc) that need to be considered.

Kernel version we have is 2.4.18-4

What other settings like "no. of open files", stack size etc need to be done?

I would be thankful if anyone can post settings of working Jboss 3.2.0 server on ReadHat 8.0 or 9.0.
