Killing a JBoss "process"

Hi :)

Is there a way I can kill a process (a service) that's running on the JBoss server without having to restart it? Let's say that the service is misbehaving, eg. it has a never-ending loop ;)

Not in general because java has limited ability to manipulate uncooperative threads. All of the preemptive thread methods are deprecated as unsafe.
