We are a running JBoss as an application server with Jeti. We are having time out issue periodically.
We see that the end user accesses the appliaction through port 2500. He sends an syn packet, but never recieves and ACK. We wait try again, then wait and try again a total of 3 times over 1 minute period. At this point we time out, a reset is done and we move to a different port say 2503 and the user can then get in with no problems.
Is there a way to turn on logging of some sort to see what is happening on the JBoss side to determine why we are not getting an ACK back?
Has anyone had similar problems? Any suggestion would be greatly appreciated.
I'm guessing this is not an issue with JBoss but perhaps your network, i.e. if you ran Jeti outside of JBoss you'd have the same issues.
As to what JBoss can provide: It does have a way to get a stack tracee, so you should be able to monitor this thread.
