    How to configure separate application log files?

    Steve Newbie

      I'm trying to configure separate application logging for multiple apps (each going to its own log file). I'm testing with the seam-booking example for now. Can anyone tell if the following should work and if not how I might go about it?

      I currently have the following in .../server/default/conf/log4j.xml:

      <appender-ref ref="BookingLog"/>

      Thanks,
      Steve

          Now with the xml...

          <appender name="BookingLog" class="org.apache.log4j.FileAppender">
           <errorHandler class="org.jboss.logging.util.OnlyOnceErrorHandler"/>
           <param name="Append" value="false"/>
           <param name="File" value="${jboss.server.log.dir}/booking.log"/>
           <layout class="org.apache.log4j.PatternLayout">
           <param name="ConversionPattern" value="%d{ABSOLUTE} %-5p [%c{1}] %m%n"/>
           </layout>
           </appender>

           <appender-ref ref="BookingLog"/>
