How to enable APR in JBoss 5?

How do I enable APR in JBoss 5?

I see a article on it for JBoss 4, http://www.jboss.org/community/wiki/HowToAddAprToJBoss

Download and install JBoss Native, just like is described in the wiki page you mentioned.

However, there are some combinations of OS, JVM and JBoss Native that do not work. For example, Windows 32-bit will not work, but 64-bit Windows with a 64-bit JVM does work. (At least that was the case the last time I tried with JBoss Native 2.0.5 and 2.0.6.)
