2. Re: Problems with the Tutorial and JBossCache 4.0.1
tobias Jan 10, 2005 5:59 PM (in response to tobias)The error reads:
Faild to aspectize class org.jboss.cache.TreeCache. Could not find class it references org.jboss.remoting.ServerInvocationHandler.. Do verbose mode if you want full stack trace.
...
at org.jboss.aop.standalone.SystemClassLoader.loadClass(SystenClassLoader.java:191)
But CLASSPATH does contain jboss-remoting.jar which in turn contains the ServerInvocationHandler the ClassLoader complains about.
Any ideas? -
3. Re: Problems with the Tutorial and JBossCache 4.0.1
ben.wang Jan 10, 2005 6:40 PM (in response to tobias)Maybe this is something with 1.5 of which we don't clain support yet. Can you test out 1.4 first to see if that works?

4. Re: Problems with the Tutorial and JBossCache 4.0.1
tobias Jan 12, 2005 9:42 AM (in response to tobias)I did some further tests:
Works well under Linux with JDK 1.4.2 and JDK 1.5.0.
That led me back to the CLASSPATH and, then saw that there are two "minor" typos in runShellDemo.bat. The CLASSPATH line should read:... %CACHE_LIB%/je.jar;%CACHE_LIB%/jboss-remoting.jar
instead of... %CACHE_LIB%/je.jar;%CACHE_LIB/jboss-remoting.jar
I guess the last line should read:java -cp %CP% %ARGS% -Djboss.aop.aoppath=%AOP_PATH% bsh.Interpreter
instead ofjava -cp %CP% %ARGS% -Djboss.aop.aoppath=$AOP_PATH bsh.Interpreter
But I didn't discover any bad side effect of the second typo so far. -
