InterceptorChain + Custom Interceptor

I was wondering whether it is possible to add your own custom CacheInterceptor to the InterceptorChain dynamically or via configuration. I would like to add on distributed tracing capabilities into the JBoss Cache product so that our JBoss customers could understand the transactional and cached data access behavioral of their applications within a cluster.

Absolutely. Currently, you have to grab the interceptor chain manually (getInterceptors()), and add your custom interceptor. In the future, we will expose the interceptor chain via XML, the JIRA issue is http://jira.jboss.com/jira/browse/JBCACHE-89. This is planned for 2.0.
