actually, i just found this too:
how accurate and up to date is it? the reason i ask is that i upgraded jboss-cache to 1.2.4sp2 on jboss 4.0.1sp1 and it seems to be working. it was the only jar i upgraded. however, according to the matrix, it can't be updated at all
With respect to the "certified by QA" items, it's accurate and up-to-date. For releases 4.0.3 and later, it's also up-to-date. For earlier AS releases, it's quite possible later JBoss Cache releases will work; we just haven't tried them out in a controlled enough environment to put an official stamp of approval on it.
I would expect 1.2.4.SP2 would work fine in 4.0.1.SP1 just by updating the jboss-cache.jar.
great. thanks for the feedback and the quick response.
what about jgroups. one of the issues we are seeing is NACK exceptions being thrown over and over. looking at the forums it looks like this was fixed in jgroups 2.3 so i was thinking of trying to upgrade that too.
I can't think of any reason it wouldn't work. If there is a problem, it should be obvious quickly.
