The integration of Hibernate into JBoss is great news.

Sun's Entity Beans show performance problems. I can talk as a former technology consultant with some field experience (now independent).

What's does this integration means for existing projects that are currently using regular Entity Beans and that want to migrate to Hibernate. Should they anticipate JBoss 4 or wait for it ?

What is JBoss Group advice on this ?

Migrating to Hibernate is a pretty safe bet. If you prefer a standard API, you can wait a few months for the EJB 3 release in JBoss 4.2.
