SQL Server and jboss 3.0.3 (jb newbie)

I have jboss 3.0 on my system and 3.0.3. I've got my datasource set up correctly with 3.0, but it won't work with 3.0.3 (NOT running at the same time). I copied my login-config.xml and mssql-service.xml files to their respective directories from 3.0 to 3.0.3, and also moved the sql server jars over. Is there anything else I need to do? Is something different in the .3 version?

Hi !

I downloaded the 3.0.3 release yesterday an d I got the same problems using MySQL. It seems that something has changed to configure the data sources...

It's always safer to modify the new files than copy your old ones.

Mabye you missed the change

jboss.security:name=JaasSecurityManager

to

jboss.security:service=JaasSecurityManager
