I am migrating from 2.4.4 to 3.2RC1 and skipping 3.0.4 based on recommendations from Marc Fleury and others in the JBOSS Group.

I need to configure a datasource (non-xa) for the informix database and noticed that there is what appears to be two files that need to be configured. In the case of informix it is the informix-ds.xml and informix-service.xml.

The informix-service.xml looks a lot like the 3.0.4 informix-service.xml.

My question is, why two files and do I need to configure both files???
