At present im using JBoss 3.0.4 with Oracle 8.1.7 XA data sources (JDK 1.4.1 and classes12.zip-Oracle-Thin-Driver)!
But my ejbs/apps are running too instable to use in a productive system. Many different exceptions are thrown (XAER_RMERR, XAER_NOTA, ORA-...: Not in a transaction, and so on, and so on).
Now my question:
Has somebody experience with JBoss 3.2.0 and Oracle 8.1.7 XA data sources?
Does this combination works stable?
Or is it better to change the Oracle XA data source to a "normal" data source?
PS: I just use XA data sources cause JmsXA!
Well according to the paid for documentation JBoss Admin &
Development chapter 10 - "If you have the choice, use xa transaction support for better concurrency and less chance of resource deadlock". I'm using xa, JBoss3.0.4 and Oracle 8.1.7.
