    Setting pool size for Oracle XA source?

    Östen Forshed Newbie

      Howdy!

      Does anyone know how to set the pool size for an Oracle XA data source?

      Are there a DTD for the oracle-xa-ds.xml anywhere??

      Peace!

      /Östen

          <!--pooling parameters-->
          <min-pool-size>5</min-pool-size>
          <max-pool-size>100</max-pool-size>
          <blocking-timeout-millis>5000</blocking-timeout-millis>
          <idle-timeout-minutes>15</idle-timeout-minutes>

            Thanx!

            I am using this:

            <xa-datasource>
            <jndi-name>DefaultDS</jndi-name>
            <track-connection-by-tx>true</track-connection-by-tx>
            <isSameRM-override-value>false</isSameRM-override-value>

            <managedconnectionfactory-class>org.jboss.resource.adapter.jdbc.xa.oracle.XAOracleManagedConnectionFactory</managedconnectionfactory-class>
            <xa-datasource-class>oracle.jdbc.xa.client.OracleXADataSource</xa-datasource-class>
            <xa-datasource-property name="URL">jdbc:oracle:thin:@222.222.222.222:1521:XXXXX</xa-datasource-property>
            <xa-datasource-property name="User">xxx</xa-datasource-property>
            <xa-datasource-property name="Password">xxx</xa-datasource-property>

            <min-pool-size>0</min-pool-size>
            <max-pool-size>50</max-pool-size>
            <blocking-timeout-millis>20000</blocking-timeout-millis>
            <idle-timeout-minutes>15</idle-timeout-minutes>

            <exception-sorter-class-name>org.jboss.resource.adapter.jdbc.vendor.OracleExceptionSorter</exception-sorter-class-name>
            </xa-datasource>

            <!--

            <depends optional-attribute-name="TransactionManagerService">jboss.tm:service=TransactionManagerService

            -->

            .. and it seems to work....

            /Östen
