Runtime errors in JBOSS (Informix DB)

Hello,

I wanted to find out if anyone on this board has been successful using the latest Informix JDBC Drivers (2.2.1 JC4 and JC5) with JBOSS. I cannot get them to work at all....version 2.2.1 JC3 works fine, but I wanted to take advantage of some of the bug fixes from the most recent releases.

Another point to consider is that neither the JC4 or JC5 JDBC drivers for Informix work in DBVisualizer (at least I cannot get them to work).

If anyone has attempted to use these drivers with JBOSS or anothere 3rd party tool like DBVisualizer, please let me know your success or failure info.

I use IBM Informix JDBC 2.21.JC5 with JBoss-3.2.2RC2.
I did not encounter any problems when upgrading from JC3.

What problems do you get ?

Hello,

I will have to rerun the server and get this information to you. Our group uses DBVisualizer 3.3.1 as well, and I cannot get this to work with the Informix Drivers version 2.2.1 JC4/JC5. It works great with JC3.

I'll reply again with the errors I get in the server.
